Translators are responsible for converting written text from one language to another, ensuring that the meaning, tone, and style of the original document are accurately conveyed in the target language.

The primary duties:

• Text Translation: Carefully read and analyze source texts, then accurately translate them into the target language while maintaining the original meaning, tone, and style.

• Research and Terminology Management: Research industry-specific terminology, idioms, and cultural references to ensure the accuracy and appropriateness of the translated text.

• Quality Assurance: Proofread and edit translated documents to ensure they are free of errors, grammatically correct, and adhere to the client's style guidelines.

• Communication and Collaboration: Work closely with clients, subject matter experts, and other linguists to clarify content, address concerns, and provide updates on project progress.

• Continuous Learning: Stay up-to-date with changes in language, industry-specific terminology, and translation best practices to provide the highest quality work.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in translation, linguistics, foreign language, or a related field

• Fluency in at least two languages, including the source and target languages

• Strong written and verbal communication skills in both languages

• Excellent research and problem-solving abilities

• Proficiency in computer-assisted translation tools and software

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
